Once again, we have been busy!! The weather has been very kind.

Year 2 are enjoying the woodland session and are beginning to understand the importance of appropriate clothing, rules to keep us safe and risk assessing signs. They have Sonny the frog, who often attends sessions to help as a reminder of the fact we are visitors and need to show respect to the environment. Year 2 enjoy playing rock, paper scissors woodland Wonder Style and exploring Fairy Glen. Year 2 will explore the other areas of the woods as their journey continues. Year 2 also enjoyed the autumn leaves, exploring and discussing the colours and then creating flowers with them which are now on display in the indoor woodland area.

Risk assessing is now being completed independently Year 3. They have started to take their risk assessment to a new level. They are enjoying Chillax Corner with Harry and Sid and have completed their Diversity book for future session planning. Year 3 have also enjoyed creating Me in Mud using natural materials and learning new flira and fauna with the help of Lady Weeda.

Year 4 has been busy using all the areas of the woodland, enjoying Chillax Corner and Magnification Corner. Year 4 have also renovated Bug City which already has residents. They have also completed their Diversity book for future planning.

Year 5 have changed the mud kitchen in The Leafy Lab and have been exploring textures and creating mud soap. They have also harvested the lavender from the garden, which will be used after half-term to further enhance their soap. Year 5 has also been creating a tool use and maintenance manual which will shortly go on display.
